Our Wednesday Fellowship group held their annual day trip recently. This year our destination was Bakewell in the Peak District famous for its local Bakwell Tarts known by the locals as Bakewell Pudding. Some of our party tried a taste. Having set off from Brownley Green in a steady drizzle the rain had stopped by the time we stopped for coffee in Chapel-en-le-Frith. By the time we arrived in Bakewell the sun was shining as we wlked to our lunch restaurant. A very enjoyable afternoon was had by all. A great time of fellowship!
