It was with great sadness that we said goodbye to our minister Revd Bob Casley and his wife Barbara on Sunday 20th November. We held a farewell evening on Saturady 19th November when members from Brownley Green and other churches that Bob has served during his ministry were able to wish Bob and Barbara a happy retirement. It was good to see so many from Billingham and Longbridge Baptist Churches joining us for tea followed by an evening of sixties music, with Bob undergoing a “Mastermind” challenge on his favourite sixties star, Del Shannon. A great time of fellowship was enjoyed by all and we shall miss Bob and Barbara. Bob preached on Sunday his last sermons before he retires and we were all blessed by his messages from John’s gospel and Ephesians.
