BB lads in National Celebration of 50 years of Duke of Edinburgh Award.

The Boys’Brigade are celebrating the Golden Jubilee of the Duke of Edinburgh Award for young people by passing a baton around the country containing a message of greeting from The Boys' Brigade Annual Council Meeting in Cardiff in September 2006 to The Duke personally at The Award General Council in Edinburgh from 5th November 2006.  Our BB Company were selected to pass the baton on from the Manchester Battalion to the St Helens Battalion of the BB on 7^th October following a relay run along the East Lancs Road.
